Christmas In October is a very unique organization:

• Our objective is to provide needed home repair assistance to homeowners who lack the skills or resources necessary to undertake the repairs themselves.
  • We are primarily concerned about problems associated with safety and warmth, but we are also concerned about improving the basic living conditions of the our neighbors.
  • We are neighbors helping neighbors; the end result is not just a better home, but a restored faith in community
  
  
• The second Saturday in October is the primary day for the general volunteers.
  • The primary volunteer day for the skilled, professional volunteers is the first Saturday in October.
  • If work can not be completed on the second Saturday, then each group will make arrangements with the homeowner to return to complete the work they have started.

The backbone of Christmas in October is volunteers. We desperately need 50 more corporations and/or social groups to do at least 1 house each. We provide all the information and materials; we just need your help in getting repairs completed. Please go to our volunteer group sign up page.
