Cornerstone Church’s May Service Day for Christmas in October.
We will be helping Ms. Wolf-Holland at 513 Split log Ave, Kansas City, Kansas Here is a Google Map
Her home is just east of 7th street in downtown Kansas City Kansas. We are working on this house at the request of the City to address code violations.
If you look at the Google map be aware that what looks like a street to the east and behind her house is actually a narrow alley. ( no relation to me 🙂 )
The weather is supposed to be nice and we have setup projects that should have us done by noon.
We will be painting, clearing some yard debris, fixing a gutter, replacing some railing, and fixing her back porch.
We will also be adding a handrail to her front porch. If you have an impact drill and a hand saw to cut 4×4’s you might bring it.
Don’t wear open toed shoes! Otherwise just dress for the weather.
We will provide: Ladders, paint, brushes, scrapers, drop cloths, some yard tools, lawn bags
What you can bring: If you have yard tools, favorite paint tools or a power drill/saw or two that would help. You should also bring some water to drink!!!
Where to Park: If there is no room in front of the house you can park just south on Ohio St. Watch the one way streets, and the alleys are very narrow.
Who can help: Young adults old enough to paint can help out. We won’t have anything for folks younger than 16 on this project.
